Relationships & Parenting

The ARROS team, comprising of skilled social workers, offers specialised parenting support to parents with intellectual and/or cognitive disabilities. The aim is to focus on enhancing parenting skills and knowledge with an approach that is person-centred, with the collaborative goal of achieving the best possible outcomes for the parents and their child/children.

We offer support to parents in diverse situations, from pre-determined visitation times in consultation with Child Safety, to informal or formal shared or kinship care arrangements, or may have their children in their care, either part or fulltime.

ARROS's Relationships & Parenting Therapists are well-trained in Circle of Security and utilise this as one of the methods to engage with, and support, parents.
